Dovida Academy

The Dovida Academy will provide and deliver training and assessment of the highest standard to ensure that the provision of care to our Dovida clients is based on evidence based, safe, quality practices. The Academy endeavors to provide real-world, work-based training allowing Caregivers and Key Players to achieve their full potential while maintaining safe work practices.

The Dovida Academy is an Enterprise Registered Training Organisation (ERTO) registered to offer nationally recognised training Dovida employees.

Nationally Recognised Training

As an ERTO, the Dovida Academy complies with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2015 and is regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).
The Dovida Academy, as an ERTO, can issue Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) Certification documentation once learners have successfully completed the requirements of the nationally recognised program that they are enrolled in.

All Dovida Academy training programs undergo continuous quality improvement processes, which can include:

  • Annual evaluation
  • Validation and Moderation
  • Liaison with industry bodies

Nationally Recognised Training Programs

The Nationally Recognised Qualification CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) is designed to develop a broad range of competencies and skills. The demand for aged care, support workers and caregivers in the community sector is increasing.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals in the community, home or residential care setting who work under supervision and delegation as a part of a multi-disciplinary team, following an individualised plan to provide person-centered support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason.

The skills and knowledge in this qualification must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State/Territory Legislation, Australian standards and industry Codes Of Practice.

To achieve this qualification, the candidate must complete at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the units of competency.

Enrolment

Enrolment occurs upon request from employed caregivers or Key Players and when a person employed by Dovida has been fully informed of the course program, and associated policies and procedures, including fees and payment terms and conditions.

A confirmation of enrolment email will be sent to the learner once the online enrolment has been received by the Dovida Administration team
