What are in home care services?

In home care refers to a range of services, the common theme of which is that they are all provided within the comfort of your own home, meaning you don’t need to move house or go to a residential facility to receive the care you deserve.

What help is provided with an in home care package?

An in home care package can include any combination of the different services we offer, tailored to your needs. Contact us to find out more about how our different services compliment each other.

Can I combine private and government-funded care services?

Yes, many people choose to combine both types of care to create a more comprehensive support plan. Privately funded care can fill in the gaps when government subsidies don’t cover the services that you would like.

How do I get started with government-funded home care?

You can get more information from My Aged Care, or contact your local Dovida office where somebody will be able to answer your questions and walk you through the process.

What is the difference between private vs government-funded home care?

Private home care means that you pay for the services yourself. The benefits of this mean that your care can start immediately, and you have complete flexibility to choose the services and caregivers you want to use. Government-funded care provides funding support based on your eligibility criteria, and it can take some time to put in place.
