Our Advisory Board’s Purpose and Value

Our advisory board brings together home care professionals from a range of backgrounds to guide our mission of providing genuine, authentic home care that prioritises meaningful connections between caregivers and clients.


The advisory board ensures we maintain the highest standards in our home care services, while continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of older Australians and people living with a disability.

In accordance with new Government mandates, starting from 1 December 2023, all approved aged care providers, including Dovida, are obligated to propose the formation of a Consumer Advisory Body at least once every 12 months.

What does our Consumer Advisory Board do?

  • Ensures quality of our care: quality in-home care services play a crucial role in fostering the wellbeing and independence of individuals, especially older people.
  • Communication & Resources: effective communication with our caregivers and clients is crucial as it fosters understanding, trust, and collaboration, ensuring that caregivers can address the unique needs of our clients.
  • Continuous improvement: by listening to feedback from our clients and their loved ones, we strive to continuously improve quality of services we provide.
